There are 5 things that help a child of any age make their Faith personal, so that they can begin to gain that personal relationship with their Creator.

LEARN WHERE IT’S AT - Learn where to go to find verses in the Bible that will help the find answers to their questions.
MEMORIZE to RECALL - Learn scripture verses that can help them recall and apply to their everyday lives.
PRAY - practice talking to God both privately and publicly.
DISCUSS and DEFEND - know what they believe so that it becomes their own and easy to share with others.
WORSHIP - defining how they worship as a way to give back to God and serve Him in a way they live their everyday lives.

Here at Freedom we want to partner with you in helping your child grow up to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. We are currently in a series in Freedom Kidz called” I Love My Bible” where we are teaching them what the Bible is, how it is broke down and how they can find what they are looking for. We would like to encourage you the parent to sit down and take a few minutes and discover the Bible together. You can do this by looking up scripture verses, reading Bible stories and cheering them on as they are learning the books of the Bible. Thank you for allowing us the chance to invest in your child’s life.

Teaching your children the Bible

This week begins a new series in Freedom Kidz called “I Love my Bible” over the next 7 weeks our goal is to see kids fall in love with the Bible.

Through this series…

We want to see every kid begin to bring a Bible to church every week.
We want kids to begin to the habit of reading the Bible for themselves at home.
We want to teach kids to be able to find any book, chapter and verse in the Bible.
We want every kid to know all the books of the Bible from memory.

Here are a couple things that will help you as a parent help us in reaching our goals:

“I love my B-I-B-L-E” by Kids on the move

This is the theme song for the next 7 weeks. Over the next few weeks I will be giving you a chance to download the FREE Song so that it can become a regular on your ipod.

This is a very enjoyable way to learn more from the Bible. Through online devotionals your kids can follow along or listen to it as they follow along. It is importnat that your children learn to love getting into God’s Word, the Bible.

This is the last week of the super fun series called: Back to school survival guide.

Over the past 6 weeks we have learned what God says in the Bible about:

Making new friends
Surrounding yourself with good friends
Trusting on God to help you through life
Giving God your best
Helping people in need
Taking care of your stuff

We will be learning and recapping this seris “it Minute to win it style. Below are the games we will be using on Sunday.

Click on the game, practice the games together as a family and then after Freedom Kidz is over on Sunday, ask your child to tell you about what they learned.

Over the past couple months we have been blessed to see children’s ministries, youth groups and even schools from all over the world request our “Angry lessons from the Bible” Curriculum. “Angry lessons from the Bible” was a 4 week teaching series that we did here at Freedom Church and it was such a huge success that we wanted to share it with anyone that wanted it. Well, hundreds of churches representing 25 American States, 3 outside countries including Australia, Singapore and Canada have already requested it. Our prayer here at Freedom is that kids lives all over the world will recall what the Bible says about how to deal with their anger when they get that urge to get angry. We want to offer 4 weeks of ”Anger Managment” to you in hope that kid’s lives will be changed for the better.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. - Psalm 119:9

Is your child prepared to do what the Bible says if they were to get angry?
Would they be able to recall how to act when they feel like getting mad?

These are just a couple questions we asked ourselves when preparing the lessons for the past 4 weeks. We hope and pray that each week your child is putting into work the lessons that they have learned from the “Angry lessons from the Bible.”

We have gone above and beyond to create tools that will make it easier for u child to recall these Bible memory verses that teach on how they can deal with anger.

1. Each week your child was taught that weeks Bible Memory in a creative way to help them recall it easier. We have even put it in video form so that they can go back and review online at anytime. WATCH IT HERE

2.Last week we sent home a Bible Memory flip book that has each weeks verse listed to help them remember what the Bible says about how to deal with anger.

3. Each week we sent home a take home sheet. Each one included that weeks Bible memory verse along with activities to do along with your child to help emphasize the Bible lesson from that Sunday. Below is a sample of one of the weeks.
