Teaching a child to make it personal.
There are 5 things that help a child of any age make their Faith personal, so that they can begin to gain that personal relationship with their Creator.
- LEARN WHERE IT’S AT - Learn where to go to find verses in the Bible that will help the find answers to their questions.
- MEMORIZE to RECALL - Learn scripture verses that can help them recall and apply to their everyday lives.
- PRAY - practice talking to God both privately and publicly.
- DISCUSS and DEFEND - know what they believe so that it becomes their own and easy to share with others.
- WORSHIP - defining how they worship as a way to give back to God and serve Him in a way they live their everyday lives.
Here at Freedom we want to partner with you in helping your child grow up to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. We are currently in a series in Freedom Kidz called” I Love My Bible” where we are teaching them what the Bible is, how it is broke down and how they can find what they are looking for. We would like to encourage you the parent to sit down and take a few minutes and discover the Bible together. You can do this by looking up scripture verses, reading Bible stories and cheering them on as they are learning the books of the Bible.
